In this charged atmosphere, I want to answer everybody , every misgiving in my opinion. But there is phase change in my life now, 2- 3 years back I may have answered all those misleading posts, but not now , have to devote time to other activities. But still I could not hold back much, especially when somebody is killing themselves needlessly , taking law into hands affecting lives of other innocents... etc.( words cannot express how we feel at times).
So I am talking about Suit - Boot ki sarkar and it is not out of context. Why everyone wants reservation? Because of historical reasons some sections have given reservation , and some of them are enjoying fruits of it. It creates comparison, we do not understand those who are availing this opportunity are also our brothers and sisters if they have improved a bit ,it is good na. We have habit of comparison, and perception that we are not getting enough opportunities.Also some people in village politics want to keep backward castes at the base - सगळे सुधारल्यावर आम्हाला कोण विचारणार? - This is insecurity .And that is why sometime back I have tweeted India needs more confidence ( instead of insecurity) - सगळे सुधारण्यात हातभार लावला तर आपल्याला जास्त विचारतील- Why can't we think positively?And democracy ,different schemes designed in democratic government - to uplift these sections have improved their situation a bit. Of course many decisions were taken for gaining votes. And also so called upper caste have adequate representation in Government jobs. But government vacancies are limited , there is overstaffing in support staff and vacancies at upper level- managerial level posts. And even if reservation is given , suppose, as it's not easy, need to patiently gather points still can't convince supreme court as criteria are not commensurate with demands, so we are talking if suppose reservation is given to all those who demand. Still vacancies are limited. And why everyone wants government jobs? Popular impression is that we can earn more money with less work ( also works with much labour are often less remunerative , so giving filip to this demand).And have prestige and power also. And many one want top slot , but there is skill deficit. This skill deficit also is reason in not getting employed in private sectors' top slot posts. And although remunerative opportunities even better than Govt. job exist , either we don't know or we have less inclination as we have to work more. That is the reason, ..seen many friends with hefty salaries trying once in a while for government posts.Although most of us pretend that we want to serve people , then why not we are Utopia yet , with some exceptions we are here to serve our self interest and package it neatly into public interest.
But as we observed public sector have limitations to create jobs in proportionate scale of demand. Only private sector can raise that many jobs. But socialist hangover may not let you embrace this fact so easily :). If we study cost effectiveness of pursuing government job and private job unless you seriously have really altruistic motives , you are at a loss. Private sector offers you rapid economic development, more choices in life. And also private sector offers jobs to people who otherwise would not have got any job, this may be a little brutal fact to digest , yes, as per the Marx , surplus is not shared justfully ; but consider that something is better than nothing or meagre( collective non-performance or plausible overdependence on only a few of them).
Okay , got to know some real facts. It is our impression that companies produce less jobs in comparison to public sector. Now be surprised , Walmart have more employees than ..can you imagine? Who provides highest number of jobs( formal sector) in India. Walmart have provided more jobs than Indian Railway all jobs collectively. And employees of Walmart are way better economically than Railway employees. If one have guts , a comapny employee can start a new venture with experiences earned there and there are no restrictions on number of companies. And Walmart is not much into India yet it is 3rd on the list of highest number of employees worldwide while Indian Railway is 8th( please double check it as from time to time list is updated, also there can be difference of 1 or 2 rank , not much in year or two). Walmart just signed deal with Flipkart.
So we need to improve our quality of education system. Reservation, of course improve upon some opportunity but these are not sufficient. Government have taken efforts recently , and our younger generations are better prepared now, and their younger generations will avail more facilities in education. Which should have happened 2- 3 decades back.
So suit- boot ki sarkar is frivolous charge. And misreading Bihar assembly elections , government tried to defend itself. But in Bihar opposition played on fears of citizens that reservation will be done away if this government comes to power. But is this possible? Clearly Laluprasad Yadav's brilliant campaigning convinced Bihari people that this would happen. But look now ruckus in Maharashtra and think twice any Government at present can backtrack reservation?
What's wrong with suit-boot, if you are to earn it through development. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was very conscious about dressing smartly and cleanly. Suit - boot , with our impressions in mind is symbol of prosperity. And who else bring jobs if not industrialists , as already told public sector have limitations in raising numbers when considered our young population. So like some journalist Tavleen Singh etc. Govt. needlessly lowered it's pitch of economic development.
And communists are really acting like Chinese Agent. While they praise China's development but not discuss much why that happened . They give too much credit to Mao. But it's because of Deng . But obstruct it when same things are about to happen in India ( also we are at downward side of that U shaped curve which depict how capitalism reduces poverty, that's why socialist hangover gets some traction in India, but अच्छे दिन आनेवाले है, from here we can go upward)
It is glorious to be rich. With this singular message Chinese people ruthlessly pursued economic development. You can read now stories of Jack Ma etc. In a way आपलं ठेवायचं झाकून ...अशीच यांची तर्हा झाली.
