Farmer

This should be done.That should be done.what should be done? Nothing.Farmers are suiciding.What is remedy. Each village have GramPanchayat or some villages sharing Grampanchayat in between them.More than state government or Union Government,GramPanchayat can address this issue effectively.Reasons are obvious and simple,in villages everyone knows each other quite well unlike cities,so whose condition is dire,who is needy is known.Then there is question of insufficient funds;some truth in it,but it's half truth.If careful study is done,many GramPanchayats fail to spend allotted amounts in various schemes.And 14th Finance commission and some of the state governments now emphasizing to give more funds and financial powers to GramPanchayats. So farmer's suicides can be minimized if GramPanchayat becomes more proactive for this question. Those of us living in villages should introspect and examine what our GramPanchayat have done from the allotted 29 subject...

5 minutes.

We have 5 minutes.Let's see what can happen here in 5 minutes. Time is very relative. Waiting for 5 minutes can be too much at times, but if other party is at receiving end we may be casual about it what's big deal. Because trains come usually late we don't get that feel regularly but we have at least one such incident when you miss the train , local or bus and you are denied some opportunity. I am amazed about video editing skills of many great individuals , how do they fill and we feel , we enjoy 5 minute videos.Of course preparation for that is needed and takes a lot. But you can do a lot of things in five minutes.Time over.

साखरेचे खाणार

साखरेचे खाणार त्याला देव देणार अशी म्हण आपल्याकडे प्रचलित आहे . म्हणजे गोडधोड पदार्थ सहसा सणावारालाच खायले जायचे, नाही म्हणायला चहातल्या साखरीत कधी काटकसर उधारीवर उधारी वाढूनही कधी झाली नाही अशी घरोघरी मातीच्याच चुलीची अवस्था तुम्हाआम्हाला काय नवीन आहे? आपले राऊळंमंदिरं सुद्धा उंचच उंच डोंगरात. फेरफटका झाला की शरीर काटक आणि आरोग्य सुद्धा मोकळ्या हवेने मस्त राहते. थकूनभागून आलो की जिभेवर गोड प्रसाद, म्हणूनच साखरेचे खाणार त्याला देव देणार असं म्हणत्यात. तसंही साखरेन शरीराची झीज भरून निघती. आता यंत्रयुगात अंगमेहनत काही जणांची कमी झाली तर साखर बी मापातच घ्यावी. त्याच बरोबर साखरेचे खाणार त्याला ऊसतोड कामगार देणार हे बी सर्वांनी जाणीव ठेवणं आवश्यक. बीड आणि बीडला लागून नगर जिल्ह्यातला पट्टा ऊसतोड कामगारांसाठी प्रसिद्ध आहे. शेतीतलं उत्पन्न एकरकमी हातात येईल न येईल तोडीचे काही का होईना हाती येतात म्हणून अनेक परिवारच्या परिवार ऊसतोडी साठी काही महिने घरापासून दूर असतात. तसंच अनेक घरांत एक जोडी वारीला निघती तर दुसरी ऊसतोडीला....
